Process
Five steps, and you deal with the same person for all of them.
The person who prices your job is the person who runs the build. Finn takes the first call, prices the work, and leads the crew on site through the build.
01 / The first call
You talk to Finn, not a salesperson.
He is the one who will price the job and run the build, so the first conversation is already with the person in charge of it. Tell him what the house is and where your drawings are up to.
02 / The pre-build visit
Before anything is priced properly, Finn comes to the site.
He looks at what the drawings assume, what the ground and the existing structure actually allow, and what the build will really take.
There is a fee for this visit, because it is real work: his time, and thirty years of judgement, spent on your project before anyone has committed to anything. It also means the number you get afterwards is grounded in your site rather than guessed to win the job. Most people find it is the first genuinely useful thing that happens.
03 / A real price
A number you can actually plan around.
Priced against your real site, not a low guess that wins the job and turns into variations later. If something is going to be difficult, you hear it now.
04 / The build
The same director and the same long-standing crew.
On site start to finish, with most of the subtrades on your project having worked with Finn for years. That is one of the reasons Glenbuild sites run smoothly, and you are kept in the loop week to week.
05 / Handover, and after
The keys, and a guarantee behind the work.
The Master Build 10-Year Guarantee is available on your build. And you still have the number of the person who ran the build.
Worth knowing
We would rather tell you a job is not for us than take it and do it badly.
We run a small number of jobs at a time, on purpose. If your timing does not fit, or the budget and the drawings do not meet, Finn will say so at the first call rather than three months in.
